The Capcom Association is a rival association to the Kengan Association that appears exclusively in the non-canon extra chapters Showdown.
About[]
Capcom were once a corporation that held a massive influence within the Kengan Association but broke off to form their own martial arts group.[1] They hold enough influence to be able to challenge the Kengan Association and they call their affiliated fighters "Street Fighters". Unlike in the Kengan Association, some of Capcom's fighters are women.

Ryu

---|
Ryu, also known as "The Ceaseless Pursuer", is a Street Fighter from the Capcom Association. He was chosen to represent Capcom in their duel against the Kengan Association, fighting against Tokita Ohma although he ended up being defeated. Ryu is a powerful fighter, able to match Tokita Ohma blow-for-blow despite being slightly slower than the latter. His trump card occurs whenever he "awakens", giving him a great boost in strength and enabling the usage of the powerful Metsu Hadoken technique.[2] |
Notes & Trivia[]
- Kure Karla likened Ryu's transformation to her family's "Removal" technique.[2]
- This crossover manga was adapted from Ultra Street Fighter IV (2014).
